Leadership
Founder & President
Gunnar founded Direct Insight Services in 1997 and has worked as a private investigator since 1994. He studied psychology and criminal justice at the University of Nebraska and the University of Texas at Arlington, and has built the firm around surveillance, fraud detection, and behavior analysis on complex, high-exposure claims.
He is a licensed investigator in Florida, Nebraska, and Iowa, an all-lines Accredited Claims Adjuster, and a certified K9 handler trained in explosives and narcotics detection. Under his direction the firm has deployed internet-based video distribution systems for law enforcement and military robotics applications.
